Oskar Merikanto is one of my favourite composers, especially I love his piano pieces like this one and Romanssi.

Pictures are either taken by myself, my sister Sofia or from internet (79ideas.org etc). I chose the pictures to reflect my world and the way I think about it and the things that are important for me.

Information board: Willow Art & Artists

Jaakko Pernu (1958-) is a Finnish environmental artist. He makes his artworks of willow tree. Pernu used to live in Oulu, the town where I study, and some of his pieces of art have been a part of my everyday life for last 4 years. His artwork is very easy to recognize and he tends to repeat his artworks with little variations.

Pernu's the Paralel is a piece of art that everyone in Oulu knows. Sadly it has been destroyed early this year because of its bad condition. To replace the beloved Paralel made Pernu a new piece of art - the Water-glass.
